Open HexDrop

Find the droplet in your menu bar and open it whenever you need it.

Pick a color

Press ⌘⇧E, hover over the color you want, then click once to capture it.

Copy and move on

Press Enter or ⌘C to copy the selected value and keep working.

  4. Paste wherever you need it

Copy the same color in another format

  1. Open HexDrop
  2. Select the color from history
  3. Open formats (chevron or F)
  4. Copy HEX, RGB, HSL, SwiftUI, Tailwind, or more

Turn recent picks into a palette

  1. Pick a few colors during your workflow
  2. Review them in history
  3. Export for your Figma plugin when ready (⌘⇧F, menu open)
  4. Keep iterating from there
